I write to express my concern about your delay in completing the Details of work you agreed to carry out at the above property.
Prior to accepting your estimate for this work, I was assured that the work would be completed by Date. At this time the work is incomplete: Number of days; this is later than the time we agreed.
I am therefore making time of the essence in this contract. If your firm does not complete the outstanding work by Date plus 14 days, I shall consider the contract between us to be at an end, as I am legally entitled to do. I shall then instruct another firm to complete the work, deducting the cost from the balance requested in your invoice.
