At Inverness Citizens Advice Bureau our Debt Team can advise and assist you on all aspects of debt and on the options available to you.

We can advise you face to face or by telephone, and can conduct home visits for our vulnerable clients and those with special needs.

We can advise and assist you on bankruptcy, Trust Deeds, Wage or bank arrestments, Debt Management Plans, court forms, negotiation with creditors and in some cases, accompany you to Court hearings.

Last year our Debt Team handled over Ł4 million of debt with this figure likely to increase significantly in the coming year, and don't forget our help is free.

Inverness Citizens Advice Bureau has re-produced a Debt Management Plan & Guide to assist you to deal with your debts. It is completely free with any payments you make going to your creditors in full, which is good news for you and for them. There are no start up costs or fees to pay and we do not receive any funding, commission or contributions from creditors out of your payments. It can be downloaded from our website along with the rest of our debt guide without entering any of your personal details.
